General Information about the Project Management Module

Project Management module is designed to manage projects and initiatives within the MD Audit system.

In the system, project management means planning a project by stages, assigning responsible participants, monitoring deadlines, and automatically generating tasks and inspections for executors.

The module allows not only tracking project statuses but also managing their execution through tasks and inspections integrated into employees' daily work. Each stage of a project becomes a set of specific actions for executors, and progress can be monitored in real time.

The module is used when it is important to:

• implement changes at locations in a structured and sequential way;

• monitor timely completion of project stages;

• assign responsibility and track progress;

• obtain transparent analytics on project statuses.

For example, a project can be used to:

• plan the launch of a new store format;

• control the implementation of standards or regulations;

• manage renovation or re-equipment of locations;

• support the launch of a new product or service.

All projects in the system are created and managed within workspaces.

A workspace is a space for project management where participants, their roles, and general settings applied to all projects within it are defined. Workspaces allow projects to be logically separated, for example by business areas, teams, or types of initiatives.

A project is a specific initiative implemented within a workspace. A project contains general information, a list of participants, and an execution plan.

A project plan is a structure of project stages and activities with defined deadlines, responsible participants, and relationships between elements. Based on the plan elements, tasks and inspections for executors are automatically created.

A project template is used for quickly creating standard projects with a predefined structure, participants, and plan, allowing projects to be launched without repeated configuration.

Access to the Project Management module is determined by user permissions. A user can only see the workspaces and projects in which they participate and for which they have been granted the appropriate rights.
