File storage

Using MD Audit you can organize shared access of employees to working files.

Who has access to the file storage

By default, all users have access to view file storage. Add and edit access is automatically granted to all system administrators.
You can edit access to the section individually in the Administration/Users. To do this, open the user profile and go to the Reports tab, and then check or uncheck the Role Access item from the list below:
  • DISK_VIEWER - View and download files in File Hub
  • DISK_EDITOR - Edit files in File Hub


How to upload a new file

Click File Hub in the side menu to open the file storage. If necessary, create a folder where you want to place the file using the button in the upper right corner of the file menu.

Once you are in the folder where you want to add the file, click on the Upload file button and select the file to upload.



Viewing files

In the File Hub, you can preview media files such as videos, photos and audio recordings.

Other file types, such as a PDF document, can also be uploaded, but a preview will not be available - you will need to download the file and open it in the appropriate application on the user's device to view it.


How to change the name of a file or delete a file

Only a user with the appropriate role (ссылка наверх У кого есть доступ) can delete or modify a file.

To delete a file, click on the details button (triplet) next to the required file and select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.
