Time Tracking Settings

The Time Tracking settings can be configured by system administrators in the Time Tracking -> Settings if the Time Tracking module is active.

Shift starting / Shift ending

With these options, you can set restrictions to prevent users from starting a shift outside their object. Here is the list of available options:

  • Only in store: if anyone tries to start their shift too far away from the object, they will receive an error and will not be able to start their shift.

  • Allow outside the store, but ask for confirmation: Like the first option, a user will receive a warning message when starting/finishing their shift outside the object, but this message can be ignored by tapping the Finish anyway button.

  • Allow everywhere: Anyone can start or end a shift in any place, no warning message will be sent, even if they are far away from the object.

Geolocation radius

Depending on the quality of geolocation services in your region, you can either increase the radius to compensate location inaccuracy or decrease the radius if everything works well.

When a user starts their shift in the specified radius, it is considered that the shift is started inside the object.

Comment at the end of the shift

A user can leave a comment for their supervisor at the end of the shift.

You can prohibit ending a shift without leaving a comment.

Autocompleted shift

You can specify after how many hours shifts should be automatically ended if users do not end their shifts themselves.

A user will receive a push notification if their shift has ended automatically.

In the Report, autocompleted shifts are marked with the sign.

Any changes you make in the time tracking settings are automatically saved by the system with a notification message.
